The Japanese company Sony joins the current trend of mini-game consoles and has announced the PlayStation Classic. Currently, only five games have been announced on the mini console. The game computer must be available from December 3.

This is PlayStation Classic

Sony announced on Wednesday that it will launch a mini game console for 99.99 eur0: the PlayStation Classic. The idea behind this console is the same as behind the Mini NES and Mini SNES: it offers players an assortment of (popular) games in an easy to install package (according to the plug and play principle). Of course the new old PlayStation can be connected to the TV via HDMI. Currently Sony has only presented five of the twenty available titles.

The games that have already been announced are Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3 and Wild Arms. These are certainly not the least games. The PlayStation Classic is about 55 percent smaller than the original version and comes with two controllers. These are the original controllers, so without the now familiar analogue batons. Those controllers were only released later by Sony. The Classic can be ordered immediately at the well-known sales points. The original Sony PlayStation was released in 1999.
