Yesterday Sony announced the prices of the new AF8-series OLED TVs and today the Japanese manufacturer announces that they have released a new commercial for these premium televisions. The focus of the commercial is of course on image quality and design.
The new commercial for the Sony AF8 series oled TVs is recorded in 4K HDR and is produced by Ben Tricklebank and DDB Berlin. In the video we see how a dark forest in New Zealand turns into a slightly flooded landscape. The production team captured the night sky and nature of the New Zealand landscape with aerial photographs from a helicopter.
The AF8 series oled TVs support HDR (High Dynamic Range) and are controlled by the 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme image processor. The OLED TVs are equipped with a TRILUMINOS display and offer support for HDR in the form of HDR10, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) and Dolby Vision. Like the A1, the AF8 is equipped with the Acoustic Surface sound technology . Thanks to this technique, the whole screen resonates with the sound waves and the sound comes out of the screen.
The Sony KD-55AF8 with 55-inch screen gets a price of 2900 euros, while the 65-inch KD-65AF8 3900 euro is going to cost. Both models will be in stores from the end of this month.
