Nintendo is looking for creatives for Switch accessories
Nintendo is looking together with venture capitalist Scrum Ventures for startups that can make accessories for the Switch game console . Because the console has a modular nature, it is interesting to see what other people can think of. Bloomberg writes that this is not a typical move for the company, which is usually very traditional. Since the Switch is not a traditional game computer, it makes sense that a non-traditional approach is chosen. This could easily turn out well.
Scrum Ventures will present several ideas to Nintendo in the fall with a few teams, who will then help with putting the accessory on the market. However, both companies are not going to invest anything directly in the startups and the new companies also do not have to come up with game concepts. At the end of this month, the Japanese game farmer launches his own creative building kits for the Switch, called Labo. With Labo people with cardboard can make different things for the game computer.
