Google has always wanted to use the game streaming service to change the way YouTube streamers communicate with their audience. So, most interesting features of Google Stadia Crowd Choice, is finally coming this week.
Google Stadia Crowd Choice gives the public more influence
And now, ten months after the official release of Google Stadia, the time has finally come. The Crowd Choice feature is rolling out to two video games this month: Dead by Daylight and Baldur’s Gate 3. With Crowd Choice, viewers can vote on all kinds of things: which team to choose the streamer, which dialogue option to choose, and so on. The streamer then ultimately decides whether to agree with that choice or to leave the suggestion for what it is.
Starting today, thanks to Google Stadia Crowd Choice, you can play the game Dead by Daylight with Google Stadia Pro. This is the first title to support Crowd Choice. In the game you can take on the role of the assassin or the role of one of the four other players trying to survive. Crowd Choice allows players to choose the role a streamer should play.
On October 6, the game Baldur’s Gate 3 will be released, which is the second game to support the feature. Where Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical survival horror game, Baldur’s Gate 3 is an old-fashioned role-playing game with a lot of dialogue options. You can play this game alone or with a group of friends. Crowd Choice allows players to influence the choices a streamer makes, in one of the game’s many dialogues. In this way, viewers can influence the course of the story, but also with whom the digital character enters into a relationship.
Dead by Daylight is not the only game that can be claimed from Stadia Pro. The games Human: Fall Flat, Superhot: Mind Control Delete, Lara Croft: Temple of Osiris, Celeste and Jotun are also included with that subscription.
