Yamaha introduces the MusicCast SUB 100, a wireless subwoofer for stereo setups and surround setups that support MusicCast Surround and MusicCast Stereo. This way you can easily connect the subwoofer to other speakers, receivers or soundbars.

The Yamaha MusicCast SUB 100 is driven by a driver with an 8-inch cone and offers a power of 130 watts. The subwoofer features Twisted Flare Port technology and comes with a piano lacquer finish.
MusicCast is Yamaha’s Multiroom total solution and an integral part of all the company’s new network-ready entertainment products. In addition to streaming loudspeakers, sound bars and AV receivers, very large pianos and grand pianos can be linked to the audio network with disclavier ENSPIRE. With the ‘MusicCast Add’ WXAD-10 any conceivable display device is MusicCast-ready. The only condition is an audio input. All parts connected via MusicCast form one large audio network: every signal in every room can be played by any device.
With MusicCast Surround, the Yamaha Multiroom system offers a new, practical function: compatible components can be easily connected wirelessly in a surround- setup are integrated. The new AV receivers from the RX-V85 series, the RX-S602 and the reference models from the Aventage RX-A80 series are available as hubs. The soundbars MusicCast BAR 40 and MusicCast BAR 400 also support the surround mode. The streaming loudspeakers MusicCast 20 and MusicCast 50 can be changed in surround speakers: without cables.

The wireless subwoofer MusicCast SUB 100 is available from September 2018 for a suggested retail price of 499.00 euros.
