Earlier they were already announced but today they are officially launched for the Benelux; the Yamaha RX-A680 and RX-A880 av-receivers from the Aventage series. Both receivers offer home entertainment without compromises, according to the Japanese manufacturer. In addition, they are equipped with the latest audio standards and of course support for MusicCast.

The RX-A680 and RX-A880 are equipped with a Yamaha A.R.T. (anti-resonance technology) Wedge technology resonance-damped housing, and a high-quality Burr-Brown D/A converter of the latest generation. They support the processing of Hi-Res audio material with up to 384 kHz and 32 bit. Thanks to the Yamaha MusicCast Multiroom system, all connected MusicCast devices form part of a large audio network and thus bring the music to any room. The receivers offer streaming via Spotify, TIDAL or Deezer, the playback via Apple Airplay or Bluetooth, or digital radio via DAB +.

The new MusicCast Surround technology makes the installation of cables through space unnecessary. In this way, the Streaming loudspeakers MusicCast 20 and MusicCast 50 can be integrated into the system as rear-facing loudspeakers without cables. The MusicCast Sub 100 Subwoofer can also wirelessly provide the low tones.

The entry-level RX-A680 comes with four HDMI inputs as well as one HDMI output (all including HDCP 2.2). The RX-A880 has seven HDMI inputs (three of which with HDCP 2.2) and two HDMI outputs (both including HDCP 2.2). For lovers of record players there is the integrated Phono input. An analog preamplifier section is also integrated with the RX-A880. In the case of the RX-A680, the output stages offer up to 115 watts (6 ohms, 1 kHz, 0.9% THD, 1 channel controlled) and a power of up to 160 watts with the RX-A880 (4 ohms, 1 kHz, 0.9% THD, 1 channel controlled). Both receivers offer the possibility to control loudspeaker setups with a maximum of 7.2 channels.

The av-receivers of the Yamaha Aventage RX-A80 series support the latest object-based sound formats Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, but also the image standards such as Dolby Vision and Hybrid Log-gamma. The integrated CINEMA DSP 3D must further optimize the audio sounding and the YPAO automatic measurement ensures optimal adjustment of the sound to the individual room. The RPA-A880 also uses the YPAO R.S.C. method that enables more accurate measurement results. The completely revised, graphical user interface of the Yamaha AVENTAGE RX-A80 series enables easy and user-friendly configuration and operation. In addition, thanks to the integration of Amazon Alexa, the receivers offer a voice control option. With the MusicCast Smart Home Skill, basic functions such as loud / quiet, play / pause or on / off can be activated via a voice command.
