Yale puts intruders in the spotlight with the Floodlight Camera

Yale puts intruders in the spotlight with the Floodlight Camera with two lamps of no less than 2,000 lumens.

The Yale Floodlight Camera really puts intruders in the spotlight, because this outdoor camera has two lamps of no less than 2,000 lumens. The nice thing is that it is a back plate with three arms. At the bottom the camera and at the top the two lamps. You can rotate each arm exactly so that your entire garden or terrain can be closely monitored. The camera is waterproof with IP65.

You can also adjust the light in the Yale View app. Different lighting scenarios are possible, for example only switching on lighting when it is dark, or only when motion is detected. If you want, you can also switch on a 110 decibel siren to really scare the intruders away.

In addition to the two lamps, you also have a camera on board. This camera has a Full HD resolution and you can see a live stream via the Yale View app. Two-way communication, motion alerts and night vision are of course also provided. You have to connect the camera wired, with Yale giving the tip to call in a professional installer. Once the camera is mounted on the outside wall, you have no extra costs. A subscription is not necessary. All functions are available to you after purchase. You can also save the images locally with a micro SD card. Voice assistants are also supported.

Price and availability

Whether the Yale Floodlight Camera will also come to the Netherlands is still unclear. In any case, the security camera will hit the market at our neighbors in Britain in September for £169.99. Also check out the security camera on the Yalea’s website.
