The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series consists of four new smartphones that will also appear in the Netherlands. The top device is the Redmi Note 10 Pro with a 120 Hz AMOLED screen and a 108-megapixel camera. The regular Redmi Note 10 also comes with an AMOLED display. In the budget segment, the Redmi Note 10S and the Redmi Note 10 5G are also added.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro
The top device of the new series is the Redmi Note 10 Pro. The device has a 6.67″ 120Hz AMOLED DotDisplay and runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of storage memory. Dual speakers are also present. The device has a battery of 5,020 mAh and supports 33W fast charging. The fingerprint sensor can be found on the side and the device will soon be available in the colors Onyx Gray, Glacier Blue and Gradient Bronze.
In addition to the AMOLED screen, the 108-megapixel camera in particular stands out. This main camera uses 9-in-1 binning technology and Dual native ISO. This should ensure that you can capture all the details and ensure a higher dynamic range. You can take photos in raw format, so the photo editing options are also great. There is also an ultra-wide-angle lens (eight megapixels), tele-macro camera (five megapixels) and depth sensor (two megapixels). The device runs on Android 11 with the MIUI 12 software shell.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10
A bit smaller is the Redmi Note 10 with a 6.43-inch AMOLED DotDisplay. The device also has dual speakers. Here too we find the fingerprint sensor on the side and 33W fast charging is supported. This device runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 processor. You can take pictures with the four cameras on the back. A 48-megapixel main camera, an eight-megapixel wide-angle camera, a two-megapixel macro camera and a two-megapixel depth sensor.
Redmi Note 10S and Redmi Note 10 5G
Not much is officially known about these devices. Xiaomi is aiming for the mid-range with the 10S and the Note 10 5G should make 5g support affordable for everyone.
Xiaomi’s upgrade policy sometimes leaves something to be desired. The manufacturer promises at least two major Android updates and four MIUI updates with these devices. The security updates will be included in this. There are pre-installed apps and ads, but you can manually remove and/or disable them.
Price and availability
The Redmi Note 10 Pro and the Redmi Note 10 will be available from March 31. The Redmi Note 10S and the Redmi Note 10 5G will be in stores at the end of May. Prices are not yet known at the moment, but based on the previous generation, these devices will once again offer great value for money.
