This is the Xbox Wireless Headset

Microsoft has added elements of the Surface headphones to the design of the new headphones for gamers, among other things. For example, the wireless headset has rotatable cups with which you can adjust the volume, for example. You can also control the balance between game and chat audio.

In terms of design, the wireless headset should best match the one launched last year Xbox Series X console. The Xbox Wireless Headset has a light frame and two large leather cups that go over the ears. On top is a soft cushion, on the inside of the band. In addition, there is support for audio technology such as Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos and DTS Headphone: X.

The dual beamforming microphones can filter background noise, so that your voice can almost always be heard by the person on the other end of the line. It is even possible to connect the headphones to both your smartphone and Xbox; so you can call someone while you are gaming.

The internal battery of the Xbox Wireless Headset lasts fifteen hours. You can get about four hours ahead with a thirty minute charge. For a fully filled battery you lose about three hours. In addition, it is good to know that Microsoft provides the Xbox Accessories application with an update, so that you can adjust things like bass, auto-mute sensitivity and the equalizer yourself.

Price and availability

The Headset is available for sale from March 16 for a price of 99.99 euros.
