Xbox One supports keyboard and mouse
Microsoft allows gamers to control their games soon with a keyboard and mouse on Xbox One. A small group of testers gets quick access to the new possibilities, which are realized together with accessory manufacturer Razer. Thus, of course, the products can be used in this test phase, for example. In fact, most keyboards and mice (with and without wire) can be used in combination with the game console, but developers have to install the support themselves.

Therefore, this mode of operation is not enabled by default. Microsoft believes that developers know their own games the best, so they can provide the support they need. Especially players who often play first person shooters will be pleased with this upcoming change, since the freedom of movement of a player with keyboard and mouse is often larger than that of players with a controller. But in the end it is of course just what you are used to or like.
The latest overview will appear at the end of October, including Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Forza Horizon 4. Please also read our review of the Microsoft Xbox One X.
