Scorpion (two seasons)
In the exciting series Scorpion we see how the Department of Homeland Security of the United States of America a supergenie and his colorful team of prodigies in service to protect the country against a new generation of terrorists. This department is called Scorpion. Supergenie Walter O’Brien has an IQ of 197 and his friend Sylvester Dodd is described as the ‘human calculator’. Furthermore, you still have Happy Quinn (mechanical prodigy), Toby Curtis (first class soul peg) and Paige Dineen.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)
Who says that Jim Carrey is only suitable for comedy films, has a point somewhere – but has never seen the film Eternal Sunshine or the Spotless Mind. In this film he plays Joel Barish, opposite Kate Winslet who plays ex-girlfriend Clementine Kruczynski. Joel’s girlfriend has had her memories of their tumultuous relationship erased. Desperately, he contacts the inventor of the process, Dr. Howard Mierzwiak, to do the same. But he realizes (possibly too late) that he actually still loves her.
Fate / Apocrypha (two seasons)
That the videostreamingdienst Netflix can also provide you with a good dose of anime, the company has proven well in the past with releases like Death Note (not the film, duh) and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. That includes Fate / Apocrypha from now on, an anime that is freshly animated. The theft of the Greater Grail of Fuyuki leads to a crumbled timeline in which the Great Holy Grail War rages. From now on you will find the second season of this exciting anime on the video streaming service Netflix.
