Technics EAH-AZ60 & EAH-AZ40 - True Wireless In-Ear launches

Less wind and ambient noise, more speech intelligibility. This is one of the promises that Technics wants to keep with the freshly launched true wireless in-ear headphones EAH-AZ60 and EAH-AZ40 thanks to the new JustMyVoice technology.

Technics EAH-AZ60 and EAH-AZ40: Features & Technology

JustMyVoice According to Technics, he is able to differentiate between voice and background noises and ultimately suppress the latter. With the Technics EAH-AZ60, eight microphones are available for this purpose, special MEMS variants are used for pure voice recording – making phone calls relaxed even in noisy home office environments.

The Technics EAH-AZ60 offers, among other things, LDAC Bluetooth and a particularly high-quality ANC

Both in the Technics EAH-AZ40 and in the Technics EAH-AZ60, the microphones are so “lowered” that wind hardly finds any contact surface, which also ensures clear speech conditions outdoors. The EAH-AZ60 also comes with a particularly powerful ANC system (Dual Hybrid Noise Canceling). The Japanese promise that the special combination of digital and analog signal processing results in “lightning-fast reaction times” and highly effective noise suppression. Those who want to consciously let ambient noises to their ears or only human voices can use two additional interaction modes with both in-ear headphones.

But good headphones not only avoid, they must deliver above all else: The Technics EAH-AZ60, which weighs seven grams per channel, should have an airflow-controlling mechanical acoustic design and low-resonance 8 mm biocellulose membranes vouch for natural sound. In addition to Bluetooth SBC / AAC, the high-resolution codec LDAC supported (96 kHz / 24 bit, however LDAC still only streams with 990 kBit / s). The Technics EAH-AZ40, on the other hand, comes with smaller ones 6 mm membranes, without LDAC, but is smaller and, at five grams per channel, even lighter.
