TCL is known worldwide as one of the largest manufacturers of displays. Although they are not yet well known in the Netherlands, the company also wants to gain a foothold here. The Benelux will be introduced to two new Android smartphones from the brand, namely the TCL20 5G and the TCL20 SE.
TCL20 5G
The TCL20 5G is a smartphone with 5G support and it runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 5G chipset. The device will have a Full HD + display of 6.67 inches with NXTVISION technology. This should offer true color reproduction with excellent brightness and contrast, while you should still be able to read the screen well even in direct sunlight. On board we also find 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage memory. The battery has a capacity of 4,500 mAh.
On the back we find a triple camera system with a main camera of 48 megapixels, a wide-angle lens and a macro lens. You should be able to record video images stably in 4k quality thanks to Gyro EIS. The device also has dual speakers and support for hi-res audio.
TCL20 SE
The TCL20 SE is slightly cheaper. This model features a 6.82-inch display with NXTVISION. The screen comes with a V-notch, dual speakers and support for Hi-res audio. On the back we find a 16-megapixel four-camera system with artificial intelligence.
The device has a large battery of 5,000 mAh, nfc, a Qualcomm Octa-core chipset and On-The-Go reverse charging. This allows you to charge other gadgets with this smartphone, with this model actually serving as a power bank.
TCL Moveaudio headsets and 5G generation CPE router
In addition to two new smartphones, TCL also comes with wireless earplugs, namely the TCL Moveaudio S150 and S200 headsets. You can listen via the bluetooth connection, have three hours of listening pleasure and up to 23 hours with the supplied case and also touchpad control. Telephone calls are also no problem. You can connect them quickly thanks to Google Fast Pair 2.0. Also read the earlier announcement of this one wireless earphones. In addition, the company will soon be launching the 5G Linkhub, a 5G generation CPE router for stable high-speed connections.
Price and availability of TCL20 5G & TCL20 SE
The TCL20 5G and TCL20 SE can be pre-ordered from March 29 and will be in stores in week 17 (April 26 – May 2). The TCL20 5G will cost 299 euros. The cheaper SE model has a suggested retail price of 149 euros. The S150 and S200 will cost 39.95 and 79.95 euros respectively. The 5G LinkHub CPE has a suggested retail price of 549 euros.
