As soon as you leave the house, the camera lens reappears and your house is secured again. You can set and adjust different scenes to adjust the camera to your liking. Note that for advanced functions you also need a SwitchBot Hub Mini Need.

The camera can therefore ‘pan’ 360 degrees and ’tilt’ 115 degrees. Is the camera set to protect and someone walks by? The camera will automatically follow this person, so that you always have a good picture of what is going on. You can simply put the camera down, but you can also hang it upside down from the ceiling as shown in the images. The SwitchBot Tilt & Cam works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. You can ask your favorite voice assistant to show the live feed on your Echo Show or Nest Hub. You control the camera yourself with the SwitchBot app.

Price and availability

An exact date has not yet been given, but the SwitchBot Pan & Tilt Cam is set to launch next month and will be available through Amazon, among others. The smart security camera will cost 29.99 euros.
