In a current press release, Sony presents three new portable Sony X-Series Bluetooth speaker in the price range between 350 and 500 euros. The three models will be available from June 2021.
Sony X-Series Bluetooth speaker: Technical Similarities
All three loudspeakers are optionally via Bluetooth, Mini jack socket or USB (Storage media) are loaded with music and are equipped with the Party Connect function: This allows up to 100 compatible speakers to be grouped wirelessly, with the lighting being synchronized if desired.
“X-Balanced Speakers” with a special membrane shape are installed, which are intended to increase the sound pressure and minimize distortion at the same time. Furthermore, the three Sony speakers can be charged with a quick charge function, a battery maintenance mode prevents the speaker from being “fully charged”, which saves the battery and is intended to increase its service life. All models come with a handle and a signal-dependent ambient lighting, whereby different lighting patterns can be selected.
Anyone who wants to be musically active will find out about the Microphone- and the Guitar input happy – this is how you can jam to canned music. The models are also compatible with several Sony apps, so that users can run playlists, change sound modes or even call up karaoke effects such as Voice Changer and Echo.
Sony X series: differences
The models vary primarily in size and weight (between 5.6 kilograms for the SRS-XP500 and 16.9 kilograms for the SRS-XP700), their driver equipment and sinusoidal output as well as their battery life (between 20 hours for the SRS-XG500 and 30 hours for the SRS-XP500). In addition, the XP700 and XP500 are splash-proof in accordance with IPX44.
