We’ve known for a while that Sony is working on the PlayStation VR2, a virtual reality headset that lets you play games as if you were there. That’s how we know in the meantime that the headset is largely white, is equipped with a 4K screen with HDR support, has eye tracking, has haptic feedback and comes with a field of view of 110 degrees.
through his social media let Sony know this week that the launch should take place in early 2023. When exactly and which countries can go to the store first for the virtual reality headset is not yet clear. We also don’t know what Sony will charge for the glasses. We do know that about 20 games for the PlayStation VR2 will be available at launch and that a special game from the Horizon series for the virtual reality headset is being developed.
