Sony AF9 and ZF9 TV series
Both the new OLED and the new LCD LED TVs come with the new X1 Ultimate processor. It has functions such as Object Based HDR Remaster, Super Bit Mapping 4K HDR, Dual database processing and Object Based Super Resolution, with which images are analyzed and optimized. In addition, Sony has added a new ‘panel controller’ and there is the new Pixel Contrast Booster mode which increases the dynamic range and the color range.
The AF9 is also equipped with the Pixel Contrast Booster, a panel controller for OLED . This maximizes the dynamic range by widening the area of color reproduction with high brightness. Images are enhanced with extra detail and texture. The AF9 is also equipped with the next generation of the Acoustic Surface sound system, called Acoustic Surface Audio +. The screen itself is used as a loudspeaker.
The new ZF9 is equipped with a full array LED panel with X-Wide Angle. This creates a wider viewing angle that reduces color shifts, so that the colors remain real regardless of the viewing position. The ZF9 is also equipped with X-Motion Clarity technology. Thanks to this technique, fast-moving images in action films or sports competitions are displayed smoothly.
