Sony AF8 series oled tvs
Last year, Sony introduced the eye-catching (qua design) A1-series oled TVs and this year the OLED range will be further expanded with the AF8 series. With this series, consisting of a 55-inch and a 65-inch model, Sony oled wants to make it even more accessible. Many features of the A1 series have been taken over by the new series. The new models also support HDR (High Dynamic Range) and are controlled by the 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme image processor.
The OLED TVs are equipped with a TRILUMINOS display and offer support for HDR the shape of HDR10, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) and Dolby Vision. Like the A1, the AF8 is equipped with the Acoustic Surface sound technology . Thanks to this technique, the entire screen resonates with the sound waves and the sound comes out of the screen.
In terms of design, Sony has adjusted a bit. For example, the new OLED TV series has a visible foot according to the One Slate design concept. At the rear is a subwoofer included and cable management system that can be folded for wall mounting. The AF8 is equipped with the Android TV operating system from Google. There is also the possibility to view personal content such as videos or photos and to search via the TV quickly via the TV via Voice Search.
