It is now possible for users of Sonos speakers to automate their music by integrating with the IFTTT automation platform. This means that it is possible, for example, to stop your music when you leave your home.
Sonos and IFTTT now work together
Sonos is open to collaborations with third parties and IFTTT is one of the first services to use the invitation. For example, users of these speakers can now set the music to stop at the moment they leave the house. You can also set your music to pause when you are called and many more things are possible by connecting the speakers to other smart services and products. Pay attention, because as yet it is a beta version.
On the website, or within the app, of IFTTT you can find many more nice things that you can automate. Sonos allows the automation service to control the music and gives access to playlists, albums and specific songs, so you can also think of nice things yourself. In the future, of course, there will be many more things that you can do with your speakers, but for now it will still be an action by the automation department. The speakers can not yet be set as a trigger. Here you can read all about the integration.
