The system consists of three separate access points and works with all new standards; 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 802.11b, g, n and ac.
The big advantage of such a system is that you can reach everything in the house, for your mobile devices and desktop as well as your smart home devices. The access points can switch seamlessly to each other so that you do not lose the connection during a Skype call, for example, and therefore do not notice the switching. The Huddle has two Ethernet ports, one of which is a WAN port, and runs on OpenWrt firmware.
Incidentally, the accompanying app offers various setting options, including pausing the WiFi connection during dinner, giving access for guests and excluding connected devices.
