Several online functionalities of Evolve will be disabled in September

Evolve was an ambitious game of 2K Games and Turtle Rock and although the game received good reviews, it has never been a huge success. After the release the game also went free-to-play on the PC and that gave a boost in players, but that has also been almost two years ago.

2K Games has announced a number of online functionalities to switch from July. Anyone who has purchased DLC will have access to it and it is possible to continue using the in-game currency until the digital stores are closed.

From 3 September, the dedicated servers will be closed, but can be played online become via the peer-to-peer multiplayer. Below all details

July 2, 2018: Virtual currency bundles removed from Evolve Stage 2 and will no longer be available for purchase
September 3, 2018: Dedicated servers shut down, Evolve Internship 2 no longer available, game store no longer available
