Sennheiser will introduce the Sennheiser new IE 300 in-ear earbuds at CES 2021, which the company says are designed for nuanced, natural sound on the go.
Sennheiser new IE 300
The new in-ear earbuds from Sennheiser features an upgraded version of the Sennheiser 7mm XWB (Extra Wide Band) transducer. The transducer should provide better sound quality with a well-balanced sound signature and sonic accuracy.
Also included is an optimized membrane foil that minimizes natural resonances and total harmonic distortion (THD <0.08% at 1 kHz, 94 dB), as well as a transducer back volume designed to minimize reflection within the housing. There is also a resonator chamber that removes masking resonances in the ear canal for more refined and detailed treble. The IE 300 delivers a frequency response of 6 Hz-20 kHz.
The individually adjustable flexible ear hooks and ear adapters made of silicone and memory foam in three sizes (S / M / L) ensure a perfect fit and wearing comfort for long listening sessions, but also offers sound isolation so that you can listen undisturbed in a busy environment or on the road .
The IE 300’s included 3.5mm cable is reinforced with para-aramid for more stability even after thousands of bends, and can be easily replaced. For additional strain relief, the high-quality gold-plated Fidelity + MMCX connector sits in a 4.8mm-wide recess in the housing. In addition, balanced cables with 2.5mm or 4.4mm connectors are available as optional accessories. A storage box is included to take the earplugs everywhere.
Price and availability
The Sennheiser IE 300 is available from January 19 for 299 euros.
