Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless In-Ear Headphones launches

Sennheiser is stepping up and with the CX Plus True Wireless is offering a further developed version of the CX True Wireless, which was only launched in July. The new offspring of the CX series should be available in stores from September 28th.

Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless: Technology and Features

Dynamic TrueResponse drivers are used, the sound of which, according to Sennheiser, is characterized by “rich bass, natural mids and clear, detailed highs”. Also on board is Active Noise Canceling (ANC), which can be switched off at short notice at the touch of a finger – so, if necessary, ambient noise can be heard without having to take out the earphones.

And if the earphones are pulled out of your ears, a smart pause function automatically interrupts the music playback – and starts it when you put it back on. The Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless reacts in a similarly smart way when handling the transport box, it switches on automatically when it is taken out of the box – and dips back into the “off” position when it is put back.

The adaptable touch surface appears sophisticated: Here, individual touch commands can be set for controlling audio, using it as a hands-free device or using voice assistants. In addition, the two in-ears can be used not only in pairs, but also individually and independently of each other.

The Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless In-Ear is available in both black and white – including a matching charging and transport case

The earphones support Bluetooth 5.2, SBC, AAC, aptX and aptX Adaptive. Bluetooth connections can be managed using the Sennheiser Smart Control app, and a DSP equalizer is also on board. Furthermore, the Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless is splash-proof according to the IPX4 standard, the battery life is specified as eight hours, whereby the transport box can offer two additional charging cycles.
