Samsung will launch a large TV line-up in 2023. The company previously announced two new series QD-OLED televisions and of course Samsung also brings new Neo QLED models with mini LED backlight to the market. In addition, 2023 should be all about micro LED, the technique in which each pixel is a tiny LED and therefore no backlight is required. The brightness should therefore be higher than with OLED and miniLED.

The CX series consists of microLED televisions of 50, 63, 76, 89, 101, 114 and 140 inches. Something for everyone, you would say. However, Samsung has not yet announced prices, so whether they will actually become affordable remains to be seen. After all, you had to pay at least 75,000 euros for the previously released models.

Samsung still uses the modular content in which the microLED televisions consist of small parts, which gives you the option – on paper – to make the TV as large as you want. For now, however, it seems that the announced models have fixed dimensions, but are completely borderless. The televisions have a 4K resolution and come with, among other things, the Tizen Smart Hub, HDMI 2.1 ports, HDR support and all other features you can expect from a high-end Samsung TV.
