The Korean electronics giant Samsung has announced that Samsung is going to cooperate with the Deezer streaming service. A number of Samsung’s loudspeakers and soundbars will soon be able to stream and play music directly in CD quality.

Samsung is going to cooperate with Deezer

Samsung is more of a producer of high-quality televisions than from high-quality hi-fi equipment. However, the Korean company also has speakers and soundbars in its portfolio and some of these products are being made to stream music from Deezer. The sound quality is high, because the music signal offered is 16-bit/44.1 kHz in FLAC format. Exactly which speakers and soundbars will get access to this is not yet clear.

“We are driven by our dedication to provide a listening experience unrivaled by our competitors, and our collaboration with Deezer directly contributes to our mission to to produce the best sound quality on the market, “said Samsung’s driver Taeho Park.

Although Samsung itself is not a producer of high-quality hi-fi equipment, Samsung is also the owner of Harman. Samsung may want to focus more on good music reproduction with the collaboration with Deezer. Time will tell.
