They appeared earlier this month to inform about an 83-inch OLED television from Samsung equipped with a WOLED panel from LG Display. Confusingly, this model would be released in the S90C series. The other models in this series use a QD-OLED panel from Samsung itself.
The still unannounced 77-inch OLED television would also use a WOLED panel from LG Display but gets its serial number. Samsung opts for the S89C series, which is one step lower than the S90C series. It seems logical that the previously discussed 83-inch model will also fall within this series.
The new OLED television will be announced next month, during or after IFA 2023. Television must appear on the market worldwide.
