The Diamond series includes the DT-6000 DAC Transport and the RA-6000 integrated amplifier. Both models feature a new industrial design with a modern and contemporary style, matching the current Rotel range. Both products of the Diamond series feature a Michi-based circuit design and high-quality, specially developed components. The new products are therefore in the higher segment of the Rotel range.
The DT-6000 DAC Transport is the ultimate source component for audio and music enthusiasts, bringing music to life with unprecedented detail. The main component of the DT-6000 is the 8-channel ESS Saber ES9028PRO digital-to-analog converter. It is configured so that the left and right channels have 4 Mono DACs. Superfluous signal processing of the digital data streams extracts audio nuances with enormous clarity and detail with an unprecedented low noise floor. The DAC powers the specially developed differential output filters with sonic components that are perfectly tuned for lifelike sound reproduction. The DT-6000 is powered by an internally sourced, unique toroidal transformer with powerful slit foil capacitors to prevent signal loss and provide all major circuitry with independent, isolated power with low noise. This further reduces noise and helps isolate sensitive circuitry.
The unit is equipped with a PC USB input to support MQA and DSD audio and uses coaxial and optical inputs for PCM 32-bit/384kHz music files. The included CD tray mechanism provides additional flexibility for music streamers and media players.
The RA-6000 integrated amplifier delivers a whopping 350 watts of output power into four ohms. The device is based on the technical design and functionalities of the top models of the MICHI series, especially in the field of circuit design, acoustic components and the technology behind the power supply. It also features upgrades from Rotel’s recent MKII models. Listeners can connect their favorite audio sources thanks to the different source inputs such as coaxial (3), optical (3), analog (3), PC USB with support for MQA, Bluetooth with aptXTM HD for high quality streaming, XLR Balanced, iOS USB for Apple devices and a Moving Magnet Phono input for lovers of vinyl albums.
Rotel new models The Diamond Series RA-6000 and DT-6000 will be available in the United States from July 2022, in black and silver colours. The other countries will follow shortly after.
