The Rotel RSP -1576 includes HDMI 2.0a ports with support 4K / UHD 60Hz HDR video and Audio Return Channel (ARC) aptX CD quality Bluetooth streaming and two Texas Instruments DSPs with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround formats.

The multichannel preamp of the RSP-1576 provides a detailed decoding of all popular audio formats. The two DSPs and a series of 6 Wolfson 24/192k DACs support configuration options from 5.1 to a complete Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 channel system. In total there are 12 channels in the form of RCA outputs for a fully flexible installation.

Under the bonnet of the RSP-1576 we find an architecture that is equipped with individual processing circuits, with much attention paid to signal routing. The surround sound processor includes a variety of source inputs including three coaxial inputs, three optical inputs, PC-USB (24/192k), iPod, aptX Bluetooth, XLR Balanced, RCA analog and a Moving Magnet phono stage for lovers of vinyl.

When it comes to installation options, the surround sound processor offers RS232 and IP control, input for an IR remote control, outputs for IR remote control and a 10 band parametric EQ fine tuning of sound in a home theater or listening room. Software updates for the processor can be performed via the USB connection on the front or via the internet. The setup menu can be accessed via the HDMI output as well as the integrated VFD display.

The Rotel RSP-1576 is available in the course of September 2018 for a suggested retail price of 2399 euros.
