The E3 demo of Cyberpunk 2077 is not released to the general public and only shown to a select group of journalists and guests. Normally, these demos are also released to the public to watch after a while, but that does not happen with Cyberpunk 2077.
It is reported that the quality of the game is not yet where they want to see it, because the current build is only in pre-alpha phase.
CD Projekt President Adam Kiciński said that the game is not even in alpha-status, when asked if the game is already alpha, the phase before beta
“No, earlier. Therefore, we show the game behind closed doors – this is not the final quality yet.
“This is the most polished part of the game we have now, prepared in some sense to show people outside the company.” Cyberpunk 2077 creator Mike Pondsmith also indicated that he waited over 30 years to make this game and that gamers can wait a few more years until it suits.
“I’ve waited 30 years to get this, it was worth it. You guys can wait a few more years. “
The release of Cyberpunk 2077 is still far away, probably not earlier than 2020. Below you see the part where CD Projekt Red explains the situation.
