Arcam and JBL Receivers upgraded: If you have a recent receiver from JBL or Arcam, the good news is that you can have it upgraded to HDMI 2.1. These are the Arcam AVR10, AVR20, AVR30 and AV40. In addition, the JBL Synthesis SDR-35 and SDP-55 can also be upgraded.

Unfortunately, it is not an upgrade that will get you off the internet just as quickly. Instead, a brand new HDMI 2.1 video board must be placed in the device. There is no other option than to visit an Arcam / JBL service center. Once replaced, you have access to all HDMI 2.1 capabilities to all inputs and outputs.
