Pro-Ject E1: budget-friendly turntable with hi-fi ambitions – The E1 is a Plug & Play turntable. Pro-Ject’s factory engineers pre-set the turntable with the optimal settings for tracking force and anti-skat-ing. The E1 is available in three different versions to suit individual needs. All three models come standard with a 33/45 RPM electronic speed selector.
The E1 Phono adds an internal phono preamp to the basic version and is the ideal model if the setup does not have a phono preamp. The E1 BT adds wireless connectivity to the built-in phono preamp. This way you can wirelessly connect the turntable via the 5.0 transmitter to a Bluetooth speaker, headphone or amplifier.
The CNC machined composite fiber base is manufactured to avoid cavities and minimize resonances. The E1 comes in gloss black, gloss white, or walnut finish. The lightweight and low-friction 8.6″ aluminum forearm is optimized for the high-quality Ortofon OM5e element. To protect the E1 from dust, an acrylic dust cover with adjustable hinges is also included
Depending on setup and preferred use, the E1 will be available for purchase in three versions from May 2022:
