POCO M3 launched: The POCO series has always appeared under the banner of Xiaomi until now. That has now changed, because with the introduction of the new POCO M3, POCO has entered a new era as an independent brand.

The popular Pocophone F1 sold more than 2.2 million copies worldwide and its successors also performed well. In total, more than 6 million POCO phones have been sold. According to Kevin Qiu, Head of POCO Global, this new milestone as an independent brand has been made possible by the worldwide fan base.
And during the announcement as an independent brand, a new smartphone was immediately presented. The POCO M3 is an affordable entry-level model with a 6.53-inch Full HD + display. The Dot Drop display has a resolution of 2,340 by 1,080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9. On board we find the Snapdragon 662 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB storage memory.
On the back we find a main camera of 48 megapixel with a macro lens of two megapixel and a depth sensor of two megapixel. At the front we find an eight megapixel selfie camera. The device has a large battery with a capacity of 6,000 mAh and a fingerprint sensor on the side.
Price and availability
The POCO M3 will be available in two variants from December 3. The 4GB + 64GB version will cost 149 euros. The 4GB + 128GB will be priced at 169 euros. The device will soon be available in the colors Cool Blue, POCO Yellow and Power Black.
