Plex has announced that its own video streaming service is now available worldwide and powered by advertising. That means you can watch hundreds of hours of content for free, but you will occasionally see commercials passing by.

Plex’s own video streaming service is now available worldwide, via the apps you already use on platforms of your choice. The service gives you access to thousands of movies, cult classics, documentaries, hit TV series and much more. All that content is viewable on almost any device and all you have to do is accept ads. For the rest, the service is free and you do not pay a monthly fee. Expect content from Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM), Warner Bros., Lionsgate and Legendary, among others.

Titles to expect include vil Dead 1 and 2, The Terminator, Dolphin Boy, Deadmau5: Live @ Earl’s Court, and Taylor Swift: Just for You. To access the content, go to the Plex website , where you can create a free account. Then you download the app on a device of your choice (such as a Roku, Apple TV, Android TV, smart TVs, Android, iOS, Xbox, PlayStation, Amazon Fire TV and more and you can start watching right away.
