PlayStation Plus Video Pass will soon give access to films and series

Sony is going to launch PlayStation Plus Video Pass very soon which will give access to films and series to its subscriber and users

Soon you may have another reason to subscribe to PlayStation Plus Video Pass , except for online gaming and the monthly games that you get ‘free’. It seems that you also get access to movies and series produced by Sony.

PlayStation Plus Video Pass

This is because a logo has been discovered on the Sony website from which this can be deduced. A description has also been found. Both parts have since been removed, but the written text is as follows.

A new benefit available for a limited time on PlayStation Plus… PS Plus Video Pass is a trial service active 22.04.21 – 22.04.22. The subscription benefit is available to PS Plus users in Poland.

As it now seems, people in Poland will get access to the extra part of the service, which gives them access to movies like Bloodshot, Venom and Zombieland: Double Tap. The trial period should last one year.

Sony has been asked for comment, but so far has not provided it. The timing wouldn’t be wrong, though, as the company previously decided on movies and series from the PlayStation Store to get. This will take place on August 31, 2021. The new Video Pass could possibly fill that gap. Moreover, it is true that Sony itself produces more than enough content and has in its portfolio (such as anime from Crunchyroll), which means that not a lot has to be purchased.
