We have seen the new UDP-LX500 Ultra HD Blu-ray player from Pioneer pass by a few times, but this week the Japanese brand Pioneer brings UDP-LX500 Ultra HD Blu-ray player to Europe. In the first instance to the UK, where the model receives a price of no less than 999 British pounds.

In September, the UDP-LX500 must officially appear on the market in the UK. Pioneer’s premium player is not cheap but that price is justified by the broad support of standards and techniques, plus a double-layer chassis construction that must prevent vibrations and thus guarantee a high quality. The housing is built of high quality materials and the player weighs no less than 10.3 kilograms. A noise-editing feature is also present inside, which also has to provide the optimum image quality.

The Pioneer UDP-LX500 is equipped with the PQLS system (Precision Quartz Locking System) of the brand. to a Pioneer receiver is optimized. Furthermore comes with model with two HDMI outputs, two digital audio outputs, a pair of analog audio outputs (no multichannel), support for Dolby Vision and HDR10, and of course WiFi and ethernet. The player also swallows almost all discs, including Ultra HD Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, CD, SACD and Audio DVD.

Whether and when the player goes to the Netherlands and Belgium is not yet clear.
