Philips TV also launches new Philips OLED707 OLED TV: Yesterday, Philips TV announced its latest OLED television for 2022, in the form of the OLED807. This new model features the latest OLED panel from LG Display, which enables higher brightness. However, Philips TV is also launching a cheaper model without this new panel.

The OLED707 should become a cheaper alternative, where the panel is not the new OLED.EX version but the ‘standard’ version from last year. That means a slightly lower brightness. In addition, the four-sided Ambilight system of the OLED807 has been replaced by a three-sided system and you get a standard remote control instead of the premium remote.

The other specifications correspond. For example, the OLED707 is equipped with full HDR support (HDR10+ and Dolby Vision), Android TV 11 is the smart TV platform, you get multiple HDMI 2.1 ports and DTS Play-Fi supported.

The Philips OLED707 comes in a 48-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch variant on the market. Prices will be announced later.
