TP Vision has today presented various novelties in the field of TV. In addition to the new OLED+ label and the new Philips OLED903 oled-tv the company will be using the Philips OLED803. This series we already know from the beginning of this year but this week the TV’s are officially released.

Philips OLED803

The Philips OLED803 OLED TV was shown to the public last January during a Philips event in Amsterdam. Yet the TV has not yet appeared on the market, but that has to be done this year. TP Vision has announced the OLED803 during IFA 2018, including a new P5 processor.

The new OLED TV comes in a 55-inch and 65-inch format, and thus has an improved version of the announcement announced last year. P5 processor. The 2nd generation P5 chip features the new Perfect Natural Reality contrast enhancing technology that uses a new advanced and intelligent contrast algorithm in combination with P5’s existing systems.

Also comes the OLED803 with an OLED panel of 2018, where the subpixels have been given a new and improved shape. The anti-reflective coating ensures that the television offers better black rendering and 10% more light output (up to 1000 nit) compared to models from 2017.

In addition, the television comes with everything that you can expect from a premium device, including HDR support (HDR10, HLG and HDR10+), Android TV software, the 4K resolution and Ambilight on three sides. Support for voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant is also available.

The design has not changed compared to the model that was shown in January. The models come without a visible audio system. The three long woofers at the back are supported by two passive speakers for deep bass. The downward-facing speaker and the speakers for high and mid-tones have been replaced by a larger mid-tone speaker with a separate soft dome tweeter for better stereo sound. The foot is simplistic and sleek, with the Philips footprint on the left foot subtly

The 65-inch 65OLED803 will cost 3,199 euros, while the 55-inch 55OLED803 will get a price of 2,199 euros.
