The new Panasonic SC-PMX802 is the top model of the manufacturer’s new audio range. The premium hi-fi system is equipped with a JENO Engine Hi-res amplifier developed by Technics. This should ensure a clean sound performance. The metal housing is classically designed and also features a CD player and a DAB + radio. However, you can also play hi-res music via the USB port on the front of the device or stream music thanks to the Chromecast built-in.

Technics’ JENO Engine amplifier should provide excellent sonic performance and hi-res audio capabilities. According to Panasonic, music therefore sounds exactly as the artists wanted to capture it, including nuances and emotions. The Panasonic SC-PMX802 has three-way speakers with silk dome tweeters that can reproduce frequencies up to 50 kHz. The wooden housing of the speakers add to the classic look of the set. CDs should sound better thanks to the CD High-Res Re-master and music that is streamed via Bluetooth or MP3s via USB should also sound better thanks to comparable technology.

The Panasonic PMX802 offers plenty of access to streaming options. Chromecast built-in, AirPlay 2 and bluetooth provide access to your favorite podcasts, Spotify playlists and internet radio. The PMX802 has both optical and auxiliary inputs for connecting a TV. Via AUX-IN Auto Play, this hi-fi system can be switched on automatically when the TV is switched on and you can also increase or decrease the volume of the system using the television remote control.
