The Panasonic RX-D552 has a power of 20 watts. That does not seem like a lot, but due to the Sound Booster function and the widening bass reflex ports, the portable radio should produce a powerful sound, according to Panasonic. The portable design makes this model suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The RX-D552 is equipped with two eight centimeter full-range speakers. You can listen to music via the DAB + radio, play CDs, stream from a mobile device like your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth or choose songs from a USB source. The model comes with a remote control and five preset buttons for easy selection of your favorite songs. In addition to the remote control, you can also use the buttons on the device itself.

Boost voices or music with Sound Booster

The Sound Booster function comes with different settings. In the B-Boost, the rhythm and bass of music is amplified. If you use V-Boost, voices will be emphasized. This way you can better understand your favorite podcasts or radio programs. You can use the Playtimer function to start the device at a preset time. You can use this portable radio as an alarm clock, but you can also set it to listen to the news every afternoon around dinner time.
