Optoma launches UHD55: 4K UHD Smart Home Entertainment Projector

Optoma launches UHD55, a new projector. According to the manufacturer, the Optoma UHD55 is a 4K UHD Smart Home Entertainment Projector.

Optoma launches UHD55: 4K UHD Smart Home Entertainment Projector: According to Optoma, the UHD55 is well suited for Ultra HD gaming, live sports, TV shows and movies thanks to its high brightness of 3600 lumens and support for the HDR10 and HLG standards, HDMI 2.0 and creating a true 3D experience through a 3d player as a 3D Blu-ray player or game console. The low input lag of 16ms and 240Hz smooth motion should ensure that gamers can also work perfectly with this 4k projector.

Optoma really goes for the big screen, because you can project the image up to a massive 300-inch on the wall, depending of course on the conditions such as the amount of space, the distance and the lighting conditions at the time. The UHD55 can project 8.3 million pixels for true 4K UHD resolution.

Why the name 4K UHD Smart Home Entertainment? Smart features are available such as voice control, IFTTT support and a built-in media player. You can also directly connect an HDMI dongle such as a Chromecast or Apple TV to turn the Optoma UHD55 into a smart projector.
