Chinese phone brand OnePlus will debut the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G and CE 2 Lite 5G in Europe on May 19, alongside the new OnePlus Nord Buds earbuds. This is what the company has self announced.
OnePlus Nord Buds
It is the first time that the Nord lineup of the brand will be equipped with earplugs. Nord is OnePlus’ budget brand and until now this line consisted only of smartphones. The OnePlus Nord Buds support Dolby Atmos and probably cost around 40 euros. The drivers are 12.4 millimeters and the earbuds have a battery life of 7 hours (with intermediate charging in the case that is even 38 hours).
OnePlus 2T 5G
The OnePlus 2T 5G is not only an advancement in the field of 5G connection: it also has a better fast charging technology than OnePlus Nord 2: the device can fast charge at 80 Watts versus the 65 Watts of Nord 2. Furthermore, much is still unknown about it. the new device, but that will change on May 19.
There will also be a Lite version of the 2T 5G, which is mainly a less extensive version of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G that was released in the Netherlands at the beginning of March. The device can charge quickly at 33 Watts and has a Snapdragon 695 processor combined with a 6.59-inch LCD screen and a refresh rate of 120 Hertz. In addition, the device has three cameras on the back: a 64 megapixel main camera and two 2 megapixel cameras so that you can take macro photos, among other things. The selfie camera on the front is 16 megapixels.
A smartphone from OnePlus
In our review of OnePlus North 2 we wrote: “The OnePlus Nord 2 5G is a smartphone from OnePlus in every way. The device has many of the same advantages of all phones that were released before, but also many of the same disadvantages. For OnePlus it is important that phones are fast, accessible and stylish and they succeeded this time as well. However, there is no headphone jack, no micro SD card slot, no IP rating and the screen cannot be set very brightly. We also encounter these characteristics more often in the devices of the company. So you now know what you are getting.” Whether that also applies to OnePlus 2T 5G remains to be seen.
