The Chinese smartphone company OnePlus has announced that its OnePlus TV on the way. it is working on its own smart TV. This device probably will run on Android TV, since the company’s phones do the same.
OnePlus TV is coming
OnePlus is a popular Chinese smartphone brand that can offer high-end devices for a relatively low price. The latest smartphone from the manufacturer, the OnePlus 6 has an OLED screen, the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and 6 GB of memory. Although there are often also some things on the devices to be marked (as the camera is often not very good), we are nevertheless very positive about the products that have appeared on the market to date.
The Chinese brand goes now also enter into other markets. Pete Lau, the co-founder of the company, has announced on the forum of OnePlus that onePlus TV is now being worked on. Unfortunately, nothing else is known about this device. Probably Android TV will be included as operating system, since the smartphones to date also run on Android. The wait is now for more information about this new product. It is also unclear whether the TV will be released worldwide.
