If we are to believe the latest rumors, Nintendo will release a new version of the Nintendo Switch next year. That could just happen, since the Japanese company more often releases new iterations of existing hardware.
New version of Nintendo Switch – Rumor
The Wall Street Journal writes that Nintendo intends next year to release a new version of the Nintendo Switch to bring out. The updated hardware should appear in the second half of 2019, possibly already in the summer. The paper does not describe any details about what kind of changes we can expect, but there probably will be a better LCD screen. Nintendo has not yet published anything about it. If Nintendo does, however, it will not be strange.
If you look at the history of Nintendo, it is striking that the handhelds have often received new iterations with violent changes. The Gameboy Advance went via the Advance SP to the Gameboy Micro, while the Nintendo DS eventually became a Nintendo DSi XL (which is version four) and the Nintendo 3DS is now also available as a Nintendo 2DS XL (also version 4). ). Homeconsoles have also got new versions: the Wii is also available as a smaller version in red and black.
