If we can believe the latest rumors then the next model of the Chromecast gets better bluetooth and wifi than the current version. The expectation is that in New version Google Chromecast Google will not change anything about the design and only internal things will change.
New version Google Chromecast
Google may soon release a new version of the Google Chromecast, which is equipped with a better bluetooth – and wifi connection, if we can believe the FCC. The FCC is the American communication watchdog. Every company that publishes communication products must first pass those products to the FCC for an inspection – then they may only be released. Although things may change internally, the new version will probably not change in terms of design.
The current Chromecast dongle already has a bluetooth chip, but it is actually only used for the installation. Future iterations of the product will thus possibly have a full chipset, so you can do much more with the dongle than is currently the case. In addition, it appears that Google will adjust the Wi-Fi antenna, which can strengthen the 5 GHz connection. When the new version will appear is not known, but it is possible to announce it on 4 October.
