Microsoft has released the October Update for the Xbox One. The update brings some major changes, including New interface for Xbox One.
New interface for Xbox One
After the update of New interface for Xbox One, you will have to look for exactly where you could find which functions again, because the entire look and feel of the dashboard has changed. The new interface should not only make it clearer to users, but it should also be faster than the old interface.
Also new with the October update are some profile themes. With Customer profiles, people can put their own spin on the Xbox experience. Different themes are available for your profile. There are themes from games from Xbox Game Studios and more will be available soon. Profile themes are available not only for the Xbox One, but also in the Xbox app for PC. Immediately three new themes have been made available to celebrate the upcoming launch of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
Choosing profile at start-up
Are multiple people playing on the same Xbox? You can disable automatic login and set that you must first select a profile when starting the game console. This way everyone in the household can immediately start with their own profile. The October Update will roll out from now on and should therefore be available soon.
