Netgear presents Orbi WiFi 6 Mesh
Manufacturer Netgear has announced a new Orbi system. Today we all have a lot of devices that all need to be connected to the internet and that also require high bandwidth. Think for example of streams in 4k or even 8k, that on multiple screens, or for example online gaming. The Netgear Orbi WiFi 6 Mesh system should be the solution for the busy network in the house, is the promise of the manufacturer, whether you use the device now or in the near future.
Compare it to the difference between driving on a much too busy four-lane highway and a sixteen-lane highway. Wifi 6 offers more streams, creating an increased capacity for more traffic. This way, the fastest Wi-Fi devices are not blocked by the slower ones. Orbi WiFi 6 can further scale up to make the gigabit internet services available to multi-gigabit networks through the use of a 2.5 Gbps WAN port or through link aggregation to combine two ports.
Netgear Orbi WiFi 6 Mesh uses Netgear’s proprietary tri-band mesh technology with a patented dedicated backhaul with seamless roaming. With 4 × 4 radios running on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz front haul, and a 5GHz backhaul, Orbi Wifi 6 is designed to provide full coverage for a variety of connected devices in any home. Faster than ever, this latest generation of WiFi technology is ready for years to come, with four times the connection capacity compared to a WiFi 5 (802.11ac) system.
