More expensive subscription for Netflix viewers: Ultra
It seems that Netflix wants a new subscription going to introduce . The new plan is called Ultra and will cost 16.99 euros per month. The Ultra package contains the same options that the Premium package already offers. So you can watch programs in 4k quality on four devices at the same time. The Premium subscription, meanwhile, would see its users halved from four to two, while the regular subscription also halves the number of users to one.
If Netflix does indeed keep this new subscription, then Premium users so, as it were, forced to opt for the more expensive plan at the moment they want the same options as for the introduction of Ultra. In a statement to CNET, the video streaming service stated the following:
We continuously test new things at Netflix and these tests vary in length of time. In this case, we are testing slightly different price points and features to better understand how consumers value Netflix.
This would not be the first time that the service increased its prices. At the end of last year, the prices of the cheapest and standard subscription had already been increased, but there were no functions at that time.
