With the LX Connect, the manufacturer Mission is presenting a compact wireless audio system that consists of two speakers and a hub that acts as a control center and manages the various sound sources that can be connected.
Mission LX Connect Hub: Connectivity
The heart of the Mission-LX-Connect-System is the LX Connect Hub. It offers a total of five different source connections: There is an analog high-level input (Cinch) and four digital inputs (coaxial, optical, HDMI and USB). There is also a Bluetooth receiver on board.
The hub can theoretically also be used without the associated loudspeakers – a power amplifier, for example, can be connected via its pre-out. Headphone fans will be delighted with the 6.3 mm jack connection on the front.
Mission LX Connect: loudspeaker technology
Of course, it turns out to be the right shoe in combination with the appropriate active speakers. They are controlled wirelessly by the LX Connect Hub via an uncompressed 5.8 GHz connection. According to the mission, a stable radio connection of high quality should be possible up to a distance of 20 meters.
The two-way bass reflex loudspeakers are based on the successful LX-MK2 series, but have been equipped with a new internal bracing system to accommodate the two 50-watt Class D power amplifiers – each path has its own – as trouble-free as possible. The speakers are available in three different finishes (Walnut Pearl, Lux White and Lux Black), while the hub comes in a matt black housing.
The price of the complete system is 1,298 euros.
