New Classic Range devices: Metronome Le Player 4 – Le Player 4+ – Le DAC 2
Métronome goes back to its basics with Le Player 4 as a top-loading CD transport, designed to pair perfectly with the second generation Le DAC. Like all Métronome devices, simplicity of use and versatility are the distinguishing qualities of the Classica range: CD player, high-end D/A converter and (optional on Le Player) a DSD 256 transmitter. Here comes the universal digital source for audiophiles!
2022 is the year of the total renewal of the Métronome Classica range: new Le Player 4 transport and new LE DAC 2 converter. The Player 4 is a top-loading CD transport and offers a transmission option that allows it to become a universal digital audio source. It incorporates a completely new pickup mechanism and completely new electronic design, just like the Le DAC 2, recently redesigned around an ESS conversion processor.
The ideal connection between the two devices is an HDMI connection that carries a qualitative I²S signal. And for a seamless look, both devices have the same innovative touch screens.
Le Player 4+ has been designed for all audiophiles who need a versatile digital source. Listen to CDs and also digital albums stored on a computer or NAS, or browse streaming services, this is now possible in a single box with Le Player 4+! Its D/A converter is available via asynchronous USB with support for PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD up to 512.
Métronome’s Classica range perpetuates the external design of the brand’s legendary devices, but – make no mistake – everything is new, from the integrated electronics to the elegant touchpads.
