The second generation of DIGITAL SHARING STREAMER by Metronome comes with higher streaming performance
After the great success of DSS, Métronome announces its second generation, logically called DSS 2. A unique network player and streamer, DSS 2 now has the Wi-Fi connection inside and manages DSD up to 256 !
DSS was Métronome’s first streaming transport, logically positioned in the DIGITAL SHARING product range. Small in size to be easy to integrate into all systems (25x25x7cm), the DSS 2 retains this successful case with a new gray color on the key and front panel pictogram and adds essential features: Wi-Fi is now integrated and DSS 2 plays native DSD files up to x4 (DSD256).
Although 100% of the electronics and software are new, the DSS 2 maintains the perfection and stability of its plug-and-play capability and is MQA compliant.
DSS 2 is UPnP and DLNA certified, can be used with all player applications under those protocols; the recommended app is mConnect Control. It is also Roon Ready, compatible with Audirvana and is Airplay 1 and Airplay 2 certified.
